The Song Of Achilles - Madeline Miller

I love most incarnations of Achilles/Patroclus and their relationship, and I've loved The Song Of Achilles ever since I first read it. I re-read it at least once a year, and I cry every time I do, no exceptions. I'm a sucker for Us Against The World stories, and their unbreakable bond that transcends death, gods and everything else is the perfect example. I would love to read anything about these two: set during the novel or after, and I'm also very partial to modern AUs of this pairing if that's your thing!

I'd love to read more about Patroclus and Achilles tentatively approaching the fact they're in love during their time with Chiron on Mount Pelion.

I also love five-times stories, so what about five times Achilles truly believed he could be the first happy hero? Or five kisses we didn't see in the book? Five lives in which Patroclus died & one in which they both lived? Anything!!!

I love to see these two happy, so if you'd like that too write them snuggling in bed, or cooking dinner together or bickering over wedding plans and I will be happy! (But if you want to make me cry instead, please feel free to go ahead with whatever angsty or bittersweet story your heart desires!)

These two are doing so well in their own rights in their home-countries at the moment, which makes me super proud. I've been a Uniq fan since 2014 and it breaks my heart that we haven't seen them all together for so long. I miss the interaction between the group as a whole, but I really miss seeing the Leo Boys together, being the chaotic maknae line they are and generally having lots of fun together. I do ship them romantically, but if that isn't your thing I love their friendship so would be overjoyed with platonic fic too!

Prompts

I would love to read future fic about these two connecting again after gaining success in their respective careers (Yixuan's thirtieth is next year which could serve as an event for them to attend!) How much has their dynamic changed from when they were teenagers? Do they still feel as close? Is there anything unsaid between them?

I'd also like fic about them keeping in touch despite barely seeing each other right now. I love epistolary fic, so if you want to work in emails or text messages or even late-night phone-calls, that sounds fun.

Seungyoun's chaotic personality brings Yibo's silly side out and I love the way that they used to play around and bring the energy to Uniq's dorm in all of the dorm-life clips we got back when they all lived together. What would it be like if they tried to live together again? 

Or give me an AU - 2leo in space, 2leo surviving in a post apocalyptic wasteland, 2leo on a lazy summer road trip... Whatever you want!

I have recently fallen completely in love with this canon. I haven't read the novel yet, but I am fairly spoiled to it so I don't mind if you want to use any canon from that in your story! I wasn't expecting to feel so strongly about this pairing, but I love their dynamic so much, and they are soulmates. I am super fond of both of their characters as well as the way they work with each other and I'm here for any fic at all.

Prompts

I'd love to read about Wangji getting drunk (because he truly wants to this time!) & Wuxian taking care of him/joining him in drunken revelry & dealing with their sore heads together the next morning.

Obviously the TV show doesn't have them be actual husbands, so I would love some sort of take on a Woke up married AU! Run wild, make it a modern AU if you want or set it in canon universe, include all the tropes you want to... Anything goes!

The UST is rife in the way these two look at each other, so PWP is more than welcome! How dirty are Wangji's frequent daydreams you just know he has about Wuxian when they're getting to know each other? Do they have lots of post-reunion sex? Once they start sleeping together do they find it near impossible to keep their hands off each other? Answers to any of these questions would be amazing.



All three of these fandoms are very close to my heart & I am honestly over the moon to be receiving a story in one of them, so I really hope you enjoy writing <3!

I just wanted to say that I came across your dreamwidth via the yuletide app b/c of your UNIQ prompt! I literally know no one in that space (I also fell into this fandom recently) so it's nice to know that there are others out there who like them!! Anyways, just wanted to do a quick shout-out.
